Becky joins RI bringing extensive administrative experience, mostly from the healthcare field. Becky holds a 1st class BSc Honours Degree in Social Sciences and Business Management from the Open University, and a Post-Graduate Certificate of Training from Nottingham University. She is an active member of her local parish church, St Andrew’s Handsworth, in Birmingham Diocese.
Becky said, “I’m looking forward to picking up the reins from Debbie, and building on her excellent groundwork in establishing RI’s administrative and financial systems since the charity’s launch in 2019. I’m excited about supporting RI’s work in resourcing Anglican leaders and their churches, and about making a contribution to God’s reconciling work in the world.”
Debbie said, “I’m glad to have helped establish RI on a firm footing, and I’ve enjoyed the last three and a half years serving RI’s work with Anglican leaders across Britain and Ireland. I wish Becky well as she takes RI into the next chapter of its development. RI has grown from a small seed into an impactful organisation, and I’m glad to have played a part in bringing this about. I look forward to staying in touch with RI’s continued growth from my new full-time role with Coventry Diocese.”
Alastair McKay, our Executive Director, said, “I’m delighted that Becky is joining us, with her wide-ranging gifts and extensive experience. She fills big shoes left by Debbie, who’s been so instrumental in establishing all of our charity’s systems and processes. I have every confidence that Becky will ably fill the administrative role, and help RI’s work to continue to flourish, as we support and resource Anglican leaders across the UK and beyond.”
