Our Staff Reconciliation Initiatives

Alastair McKay
Founder and executive director

Alastair is an Anglican priest and author, who, as well as directing RI,  also works as a freelance consultant, coach and adult educator. Alastair co-founded and directed Bridge Builders for 20 years until ordination in 2015. He developed the vision for the Reconciling Mission programme (originally as part of a wider Anglican Peacemaking Institute) from 2015 and founded Reconciliation Initiatives in 2017. He is the author of Bridgebuilding: Making Peace with Conflict in the Church (Canterbury Press, 2019). Alastair is passionate about practically equipping Christian leaders and churches to play their part in contributing to God's reconciling work in the world.

Our Staff Reconciliation Initiatives

Debbie Niblett

Debbie is our administrator, based at St Michael's House, Coventry Cathedral. She has extensive office and administration experience having most recently worked for Christian charity 'tastelife' as office manager.  She will continue to be parish administrator for her local church. Debbie is excited to be supporting Alastair and contributing towards resourcing Christian leaders and their churches to serve the wider community.
