Our Staff Reconciliation Initiatives

Alastair McKay
Founder and Executive Director

Alastair is an Anglican priest and author, who is the director of RI. Previously, Alastair co-founded and directed Bridge Builders for 20 years until ordination in 2015. He developed the vision for the Reconciling Mission programme (originally as part of a wider Anglican Peacemaking Institute) from 2015 and founded Reconciliation Initiatives in 2017. He is the author of Bridgebuilding: Making Peace with Conflict in the Church (Canterbury Press, 2019). Alastair is passionate about practically equipping Christian leaders and churches to play their part in contributing to God's reconciling work in the world.

Becky Gaskin
Administrator

Becky is RI’s Administrator, having started the role in March 2023. She has extensive administrative experience, primarily within the healthcare field, and holds an Open University 1st class BSc Honours Degree in Social Sciences and Business Management. She’s passionate about using her gifts and skills to support RI’s work in resourcing Anglican leaders and their churches, and making a contribution to God’s reconciling work in the world. She’s also an active member of her local parish church, St Andrew’s Handsworth, in Birmingham Diocese.

Fedis Nyagah
Kenya Project Manager

Fedis is an Anglican priest, a member of the global Church and Community Mobilisation Process (CCMP) master trainer network , and a Girl Child Long Walk Fellow. She has championed the uptake of CCMP within the Anglican church in Africa and facilitated envisioning forums for new bishops and spouses for transformational leadership in 15 Anglican provinces. Fedis is passionate about nurturing relationships with like-minded partners. She looks forward to using her skills in contributing to RI’s mission and nurturing a generation of peacemakers in Kenya.
