We’re thrilled to announce the launch of The Reconciling Mission Podcast, a brand-new podcast inviting churches and community leaders to explore fresh ways of engaging with their neighbourhoods. The series explores approaches that focus on openness, generosity, and building relationships over rigid agendas.
What does it mean to say “yes” to opportunities that might surprise us? “I nearly always try and find a good reason to be able to say yes,” one guest explains, highlighting the value of being receptive to new ideas.
Through the series, the conversations emphasis that community engagement is not just about logistics or resources, it’s a matter of heart and spirit. Churches often find themselves “scrabbling for resources and finance.” However, embracing a relational approach can lead to more meaningful connections and impact.
“Let’s let go of our agendas,” one guest suggests. “If we can’t be generous in our invitation to partner with people of goodwill in our neighbourhood, we’re missing an incredible opportunity to see where it could take us.”
The Reconciling Mission podcast is designed for Christian leaders and anyone interested in seeing churches more faithfully follow the example of Jesus today.
Listeners can explore practical insights and thoughtful reflections on how faith communities can become catalysts for reconciliation in their neighbourhoods.
You can listen to the podcast each week on our website in the News section, or catch it on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram every Wednesday at 10 AM.
