The pilot Reconciling Mission programme was due to begin with a residential course in July 2020, at Launde Abbey in the Midlands, England. However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the programme began instead with an online course, which was followed up with ongoing coaching support over 18 months, and a short residential in July 2021. The first cohort comprised groups from the dioceses of Coventry, Gloucester, Llandaff, and a cross-diocesan group from the Scottish Episcopal Church.

The second Reconciling Mission programme began with a residential course in June 2021, run on a socially-distanced basis at Launde Abbey. This is being followed up with ongoing coaching support through until the end of 2022. The second cohort comprised groups from the dioceses of Ely, Hereford, Lichfield and St Asaph.

The third Reconciling Mission programme began with a residential at Launde Abbey in July 2022, and will run through until the end of 2023. The third cohort comprises groups from the dioceses of Durham, Lincoln, Monmouth, Newcastle, Southwark and York.
